Belgium Moules parquées

Moules parquées is a traditional Belgian dish originating from Brussels. The dish consists of raw mussels that are served on the half-shell.

They are usually served with a sauce consisting of lemon juice, mustard, and sometimes vinegar, although they can be served only with lemon juice.

Some people like to season the raw mussels with freshly ground pepper.

It’s recommended to enjoy moules parquées with a glass of white wine on the side.
