DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO MAKE ROOIBOS TEA
Under medium heat, heat the water until it is nearly boiling for 2 to 3 minutes. Lower heat until water is simmering( not boiling). Add fresh ginger slices
Place rooibos tea in water. If you want it to be stronger, add more tea. When the 3 minutes of steeping time is up, filter the tea into a big pot.
Add a sweetener. Make sure this sweetener is added when the tea is still hot.
Allow the tea to cool for around 30 minutes. Squeeze the juice of 2 to 3 lemons into the tea once it has cooled.
After adding the lemon juice, taste and adjust to your pleasure.
Keep the jug of tea in the fridge for some hours, so as to enjoy it chilled.
