If you havent had a smoothie bowl, it’s a delicious rich smoothie – but thicker, so you can eat it with a spoon, more like yogurt than a sippable smoothie. But you can make it more fluid if you’d rather sip it – just add more milk!
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
1 cup fat-free milk
1 cup frozen or fresh unsweetened strawberries
1/2 cup frozen or fresh unsweetened raspberries
3 tablespoons sugar
1 cup ice cubes
Optional: Sliced fresh strawberries, fresh raspberries, chia seeds, fresh pumpkin seeds, unsweetened shredded coconut and sliced almonds
DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO MAKE BERRY SMOOTHIE BOWL
Unwrap all ingredients and break or remove all unwanted parts.
Place the milk, berries and sugar in a blender or juice blender.
Cover with lid and puree until smooth consistency is achieved. Add ice cubes; cover and process until smooth. Add optional toppings as desired.
