Honey Sesame Chicken

TIPS FOR THE BEST SESAME CHICKEN
Combine ½ tablespoon cornstarch with ½ tablespoon cold water and then whisk into the sauce if you want a thicker sauce.
You can use chicken thighs, in place of the chicken breast. Just add a minute longer for frying.
If you want to make it a little spicy, add in a bit of sweet chili sauce!
DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO MAKE HONEY SESAME CHICKEN
Place eggs in a bowl and whisk with a fork until blended.
Combine flour and cornstarch in a plate and stir together until incorporated.
Heat about 3-inches of oil in a deep frying pan.
Dip each piece of chicken in the egg mixture and then dip it into flour mixture.
Add chicken pieces to the hot oil and cook for 4 to 5 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Drain chicken on paper towels.
Making honey sauce:
Combine all remaining ingredients except sesame seeds in a small pan over medium heat.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Simmer until slightly thickened.
Pour over warm chicken and toss to fully coat. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
You can store in an airtight, freezer safe container for about 3 months.
