How To Prepare Ginger Beer

Originally, ginger beer was an alcoholic brew made from fermented ginger, sugar, and water, however, many of today’s commercial ginger beers have less than .5% alcohol and are classified as non-alcoholic.

It originates from England where ginger, water, sugar, and sometimes lemon were fermented and brewed with a starter culture that resulted in a drink with about 11% alcohol.
