RECIPE INGREDIENTS
For Making Turkey:
1 onion, diced
4 pieces turkey wings
2 teaspoons thyme
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoons ginger powder
1 teaspoon White pepper
1 teaspoon curry powder
Chicken seasoning
Salt
For Making Sauce:
2 big red and green bell pepper
6 habanero peppers
2 medium onion
1/4 cup Vegetable oil
1/2 cup Turkey stock
1/2 teaspoon Curry powder/ thyme
DIRECTION ON HOW TO PREPARE PEPPERED TURKEY WINGS
For Making Turkey:
Wash and clean turkey wings with water and place into a pot.
Add the onion, garlic powder, ginger powder, white pepper, thyme and seasoning cubes. Stir to coat turkey.
Marinate turkey for 30 minutes or overnight if preferred.
Under medium heat, place pot on heat, add moderate amount of water to cover and cook turkey
Boil for about 15 -20 minutes until soft and tender
Take them out and grill/broil in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius or 400F untiil golden brown. OR Fry in oil until golden. Remove and set aside
For Making Sauce:
Prep vegetables by slicing 1 onion and 1 red and green bell peppers
Blend remaining onion and habanero peppers with 1 red and green bell peppers until smooth.
In a separate pan, add vegetable oil and place on heat. Add sliced vegetable, cook until soft.
Pour the blended mixture into oil and cook until the water dries up and it thickens.
Add the curry powder, thyme, stock and some salt to taste. Stir very well.
Place the grilled/fried turkey wings in sauce and mix till every turkey wing is coated with the pepper sauce.
