How To Steam Sausage. Sausages are usually made from minced pork (sometimes other meats like lamb or beef are used).

Method 1: FRYING METHOD

How To Cook Sausage

Light a burner on the stove and set it to medium heat. Place skillet over the heat. Let it sit for a minute to get hot.

Add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil, spread around the pan.

Carefully put them in the pan one-by-one. Leave enough space so that none of them are touching. (If the casings are connected, cut them apart before putting them on the pan)

Let them cook until about two minutes, flip them over using set of tongs. Continue turning every few minutes until they are brown on all sides. The meat should by firm and cooked all the way through. There should be no pink remaining and any juices should run clear.

 

 

Method 2: GRILLING METHOD

 

Light your grill and let it build up heat. If you’re using a gas grill, set the burners to medium-high. If you’re using charcoal, light a generous pile of briquettes and let them burn to the point that they are ashed-over and glowing orange.

Once your grill is hot, adjust the heat. Leave one side of the grill hot but reduce the heat on the other side.

Lay them on the hot side of the grill one-by-one.

Turn after two minutes on each side

Transfer them to the cold side with the use a long fork. Here, they’ll continue to cook.Let them cook for about 10 more minutes, turning occasionally.

 

 

Method 3: BOILING METHOD

How To Cook Sausage

Place a large saucepan on medium-high heat.

Fill a saucepan with enough water to cover them, then bring it to a boil.

Use tongs to carefully place then in the water, and reduce the heat to a simmer. 

Cover the saucepan with a lid and let them cook slowly for around 10 to 30 minutes depending on their size.

Remove them and dry them off with a paper towel. They should be cooked all the way through.

 

 

Method 4: BAKING METHOD

Preheat your oven to around 350 F.

Prepare a baking tray or grill, and place them on it, spread apart with plenty of space between them.

Cook them in the oven for around 20 minutes, turning them halfway so they brown evenly.

Make sure they are cooked all the way through, with no pink meat inside.
