WHAT KIND OF PEANUT BUTTER SHOULD I USE?
Regular smooth peanut butter is best in this recipe. You can feel free to use crunchy peanut butter. Just stay away from natural, freshly ground, or reduced fat peanut butter, as the cause the bread to be drier or fall apart.
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
1 cup whole milk
Cooking spray
2 large eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
1/3 cup vegetable oil
DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO BAKE PEANUT BUTTER BREAD
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9×4 metal loaf pan with baking spray. Alternatively, brush with oil.
Line with a strip of parchment paper over all side of pan.
Sift together flour, baking powder, granulated sugar and salt into a large bowl. Whisk to combine
Add together whole milk, eggs, smooth peanut butter, and vegetable oil to a separate large bowl and whisk until smooth.
Whisk the dry and wet ingredients together until just combined then pour the batter into your loaf pan. Sprinkle with chopped peanuts, if using, and press peanuts into the surface of the batter
Bake for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before lifting it out by the parchment sling. Transfer to a wire rack to cool fully.
Serve warm with jam, peanut butter, honey
