Sweet potato and pear puree is a soft babies meal made with potato and pear.

Sweet potato with pear is a delicious and amazing puree for 6 months and above.
In this recipe I have mixed together sweet potato with pear and added a bit of cinnamon powder to it. Follow the guide to prepare for your baby

Avoid buying pear with soft spots and bruises
Buy sweet potatoes that are free from cracks, bruises and it must be firm. Store it away from excess heat
You can add more water or breast milk if the puree is too thick
TRY OTHER BABIES FOOD
2 large sweet potatoes
3 whole conference pears
2-3 tablespoons water, breast milk or formula
A pinch of cinnamon powder (optional)
DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO PREPARE SWEET POTATO AND PEAR PUREE
Wash and peel the sweet potatoes, then chop into smaller cubes.
Place sweet potatoes in a pan and cover with boiling water. Bring back to the boil and simmer for around 10 minutes, until tender and soft
In a separate bowl, peel and chop the pears.
Add the chopped pears to the pan and return to the boil for around 3 minutes.
Drain from hot water and mash cooked potatoes and pear into puree.
Add your pinch of cinnamon powder and stir
Allow it to cool off then serve to your baby

- A pinch of cinnamon powder optional
