Tasty Chicken Alfredo Recipe

This easy Italian Chicken Alfredo recipe made up of a golden pan-fried seasoned chicken breasts and tender noodles, coated in cream sauce.

HOMEMADE CHICKEN FAJITA’S RECIPE

 

 

RECIPE INGREDIENTS

2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

Kosher salt

Freshly ground black pepper

1 1/2 cup whole milk

1 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth

2 cloves garlic, minced

8 oz. fetuccini

1/2 cup heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan

Freshly chopped parsley, for garnish 

 

 

DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO MAKE TASTY CHICKEN ALFREDO RECIPE

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Add the fettuccine and cook until al dente according to package directions, usually 10 minutes then drain well. Set aside.

Heat oil in a large skillet over a medium heat.

 Add chicken and season with salt and pepper on both sides. Cook until golden for about 8 minutes per side. Allow it to cool, then slice.

Add milk, broth, and garlic to skillet. Season with salt and pepper and bring to a simmer.

Add fettuccine, stirring continuously for about 3 minutes. Let cook until 8 minutes more.

Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan until combined. Simmer until sauce thickens.

Remove from heat and stir in sliced chicken. Garnish with parsley.

Leftovers should be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It will keep up to 3 days

NOTES ON HOW TO MAKE A PEREFCT TASTY CHICKEN ALFREDO RECIPE

  1. Alternatively use heavy cream in place of milk if you want a richer sauce.
  2.  You can use chicken breast instead of thigh. Breast is equally juicy and tasty too
  3. You can try different noodles for this recipe. In place of fettuccini, you can use angel hair or spaghetti or Linguini.
  4.  Just make sure whatever pasta you choose can be completely submerged in your cooking liquid.
  5.  Stir in a couple big handfuls of spinach and some halved grape tomatoes after the pasta is cooked.
