How to prepare Beef Sauce

I am going to show you how to prepare an easy beef sauce with mixed veggies. Beef sauce is served with Rice and any dish of choice

Shredded Beef Sauce is a Chinese style Recipe. It’s a quick, tasty and easy to make.

Soy Sauce is very necessary in this recipe because it gives it a distinct Chinese flavor when it is incorporated into this shredded beef sauce. Oyster Sauce adds to the flavor and gives it a sweet taste but feel free to omit it if you’re not into sweet sauces

To enhance the taste of your sauce, you should consider marinating your beef for as long as possible. I prefer to marinate overnight or few hours.

 

TRY OTHER e beef into thin strips while it is still frozen than after it has completely thawed.

 

RECIPE INGREDIENTS

400g Very Tender Beef

4 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil

2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce

3 Tablespoons Oyster Sauce

1 Tablespoon Rice wine or 3 Tablespoons Chicken Stock

1 Tablespoon Corn Starch/Corn Flour

1 Small Onion Sliced

1/2 Green, Yellow, Red Peppers Thinly Sliced

5 Medium Mushrooms Thinly sliced (Optional)

3 Minced Garlic Cloves

1 Tablespoon Minced Ginger

 

 

DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO PREPARE BEEF SAUCE

Wash the meat to rid it of blood and fat. Here is a simple trick, add some salt into hot water and pour it over the meat, you will see the bloody mess come right out or whatever colors they used to make the meat look attractive.

Cut into thin diagonal strips. Cut against the grain.

Marinate the meat with Beef seasoning, curry, minced garlic and ginger and salt. Leave to marinate for at least an hour. To maximize the taste and flavor, marinate beef overnight

Mix the Soy Sauce, Oyster Sauce(optional), Cooking wine(Optional), pepper in a bowl and set aside

Pour 3 tablespoons of oil in a skillet or large frying pan, place on medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and ginger, cook for a minute. Now add the marinated beef and 1 cup of water into the pan, stir and fry till cooked, this should take 5-10 minutes

Remove the beef from the pan, discard the oil in the pan.

Add another 2 tablespoons of oil. Add the onions, sliced peppers, carrots and mushrooms (optional) into the pan, cook for 3 minutes.

Now add the beef and mixed sauce leave to simmer for 2 minutes

Mix corn flour with little water to form a paste and a bit runny and add to the beef, let this cook for 2 minutes

Taste for seasoning and cook for just a few minutes.

Your beef sauce is ready once it is thick and nice. Serve this with boiled rice.
