A crisp, refreshing cocktail of pomegranate and lime juice, vodka and orange liqueur. The pomegranate martini, or pomtini, is a pretty, deep red cocktail.

RECIPE INGREDIENTS

Ice

2 oz. fresh pomegranate juice

1 1/2 oz. vodka

1/2 oz. Cointreau

1 tablespoon sanding sugar

1 lemon, halved

1/2 oz. fresh lemon juice

DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO MAKE THE BEST POMEGRANATE MARTINI RECIPE

Place sanding sugar on a shallow plate. Rub a lemon half around rim of martini glass, then dip into sugar.

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add pomegranate juice, vodka, Cointreau, and lemon juice and vigorously shake until outside of shaker is frosty for about 20 seconds.

Strain into prepared glass. Garnish with pomegranate seeds and rosemary sprig.
