HOW TO PREPARE TIGER NUT DRINK

INGREDIENTS NEEDED FOR HOW TO PREPARE TIGER NUT DRINK
1 cup Tiger nut
1/2 Coconut (optional)
1/2 Cup Dates
1 teaspoon Ginger (minced) optional
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla essence/cinnamon powder (optional)
DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO PREPARE TIGER NUT DRINK
Wash and remove dirt, spoilt ones and foreign particles from nut
Place and soak nut in water for 24 hours or more if using dried ones.
Pit the dates and chop them into pieces.
Break up the coconut and cut it into small pieces
Drain the nuts and rinse again.
Blend the tiger nut, coconut, dates together with a moderate amount of water until smooth. Making sure the water is enough just to cover.
Using a cheesecloth of fine sieve, pour the blended mixture into the cheesecloth/strainer/mesh and drain the content
Pour in a jar and add vanilla essence or cinnamon if using. Place in fridge to chill or add ice cubes. Serve cold
